A.P.E. has been part of broadcast production since as early as 1972. In 1995, John Peace described how he and a small handful of producers began sending audio to client stations online as MP3 files after experimenting with several algorithms, codecs, and sample rates. They landed on 128 kbps MP3 files.

The studio combines voice talent, writing, production, and delivery for work that needs to move freely and concisely from idea to listener.
